The knives are used to apply oil and tempera paints on canvas with textured materials (smooth paint layers or relief strokes). Small palette knives are useful while working on fine details and geometrical shapes to create clear lines. They can also be used for cleaning palettes, mixing colors, or partially removing excess of color from a painting.

Well made of flexible stainless steel. Just like the one I had for thirty years till it broke. Being flexible allows you to putty holes easily when putting model parts together so you can have a smooth surface prior to painting
